# Solimán López — New Media & Bio Art

> Official website and catalogue raisonné of Solimán López (b. Burgos, Spain, 1981), a contemporary new media artist whose practice operates at the intersection of art, science, technology and ecological transition: environmental DNA, artificial intelligence, data visualization, blockchain, sound and immersive installations.

He has exhibited in more than 20 countries across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Asia — including the Centre Pompidou (Paris), MAAT (Lisbon), IVAM (Valencia), Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Chile, Ars Electronica, ISEA and the Brazilian Digital Art Biennial. His research addresses ecological transition, digital sovereignty, biodiversity preservation, posthuman identity and the politics of data, frequently in collaboration with scientists, laboratories and research centers.
